There are many types of hinges, how do we choose the right hinge?

2.Check the door thickness of the cabinet, we have 40mm cup, 35mm cup and 26mm cup hinges. People usually use a 35mm cup hinge, which is used for door thicknesses of 14mm-20mm, 40mm cup hinge for thicker and heavier doors, and 26mm cup hinge for thinner doors.
3.Check the door on the cabinet, there are 3 sizes of hinge, full overlay, we also can called it full cover, the door cover the full of side door. Half overlay, it’s mean half cover, the door cover a half of side door, two doors share the same side door. And the last one is insert, we can called it no cover, the door doesn’t cover the side door.
4.Consider the intended use of the hinge, such as how much activity it will experience, how much humidity is present, and whether the item will be used indoors or outdoors. For doors that are opened frequently, a hinge that can resist the increased movement is required. Thin, lightweight hinges can break off under constant wear. Stainless steel hinges are required in areas with high humidity or humidity, such as bathrooms, to avoid rusting.
