Consider placement, usage, and style when repairing existing hinges or building something new that requires a hinge to guarantee you choose a hinge that will work for you. There are many types of hinges, how do we choose the right hinge?

1.Examine the casing to which the hinge will be attached. Determine if it is framed or unframed. Face frames, which have a lip around the edge like a frame, are typical on kitchen cabinets. Frameless cabinets require frameless hinges, while face-framed cabinets require frame-mountable hinges.

For doors that are opened frequently, a hinge that can resist the increased movement is required. Thin, lightweight hinges can break off under constant wear. Stainless steel hinges are required in areas with high humidity or humidity, such as bathrooms, to avoid rusting.
